July Brings an Exciting Speaker to B'nai Israel

Minimize

Craig Silverstein has been able to take a pretty close look at Google since he was the first employee hired by Google’s founders. Craig, who was a Bar Mitzvah right here at B’nai Israel, is coming back on July 25 at 2 p.m. to discuss the development of search capabilities at Google and what the future holds for search engines. We are thrilled that we can provide this service to our members and the community for free.

Craig has been at Google for 10 years. He directed the infrastructure development and is currently the Director of Technology. He will also speak about his vision for the future of the internet and online search capabilities. Craig is currently on leave from Stanford University where he is pursuing a PhD in computer sciences, while still contributing his expertise to Google.
Craig graduated with honors with a bachelor's degree in computer science from Harvard College, from which he also received Phi Beta Kappa distinction, the Microsoft Technical Scholarship, and twice received the Derek Bok Award for Teaching Excellence.
Don't miss this unique opportunity. Please plan to join us!

Junque to Jewels Rummage Sale

Junque to Jewels has come and gone, and we'd like to thank the devoted members of our congregation for making this fundraiser a success! We couldn't have done it without the generous contributions from many of our members and the tireless efforts of our volunteer staff who sorted, priced and organized items.

Lag B'Omer Photos

We celebrated Lag B'Omer on May 2 with a picnic at Sholom Park.
